CLIENT EXPERIENCE + POLICIES
By booking services with Marnita Joy, you agree to the following terms and policies:
APPOINTMENTS & BOOKING
All appointments require a non-refundable deposit to secure your booking. Appointments are not confirmed until the deposit has been received. The remaining balance is due on the day of your appointment unless otherwise stated.
CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING
Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Due to the time reserved for your appointment, cancellations will result in forfeiture of your deposit. Rescheduling requests may be accommodated at the artist’s discretion.
LATE POLICY
Clients are expected to arrive on time. A grace period of 10 minutes is allowed. After 10 minutes, your appointment may be shortened or canceled to avoid delays for other clients. Late arrivals do not guarantee a full service.
NO-SHOW POLICY
Failure to attend your appointment without notice will result in forfeiture of your deposit.
SKIN CONDITIONS & ALLERGIES
Clients must disclose any known allergies, sensitivities, or skin conditions prior to their appointment. Marnita Joy is not liable for any reactions resulting from undisclosed conditions.
SANITATION & HYGIENE
All tools and products are sanitized between clients using professional standards. Disposable applicators are used when necessary to maintain hygiene. Services will not be performed on clients with contagious conditions (including but not limited to cold sores, eye infections, or skin infections).
MAKEUP PREFERENCES
Every effort will be made to achieve your desired look. Clear communication is encouraged during your appointment to ensure satisfaction. Adjustments can be made during the service; however, once the appointment is completed, changes may not be possible.
PHOTOGRAPHY & CONTENT
Photos and videos may be taken for portfolio, website, and social media use. By booking, you grant permission for this content to be used unless otherwise requested in writing prior to your appointment.
PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT
Marnita Joy reserves the right to refuse service to anyone displaying inappropriate, disrespectful, or unsafe behavior.
LIABILITY WAIVER
By booking, you acknowledge that makeup services are performed using professional products and techniques. While all precautions are taken, Marnita Joy is not liable for any adverse reactions.
